Ambrosia Cooking Retreats are for all levels of cooks. We've have experience teaching beginners, and many who found a new love (or renewed love) of the kitchen. One of the reasons we like to keep the number of guests so small is to better personalize the classes. There will be extra help for anyone who needs it.

We cover almost everything
All of our planned activites, food and beverages, and lodging.
Any “extras” that you should decide to purchase will be on you - such as snacks or trinkets at the open air markets, that extra bottle of wine for the table at our lunches or dinners out, and any other shopping you choose to do. You have the freedom to come and go as you please. When you are with the team, we take care of you.

Amazing! We love single travelers, couples, and groups! Everyone has a seat at the table and will find an accommodating and interactive experience. Please make sure to choose single occupancy upon check out. Reach out with any questions.

All of our Retreats are hosted in English. Our co-host Natalie is fluent in French and is available for any help you may need.
Each retreat will have a 30-minute language class, if you want to pick up on some basics while you are here.
Otherwise, you can get by in English almost anywhere you visit and we have always found the Gascon’s particularly accommodating to English speakers.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Ambrosia retreats are limited to a small number of guests to allow for a more personable and intimate experience.
A $2,000 deposit is required at the time of reservation.
Deposits are fully refundable, minus a 4% processing fee, up to 14 days after your reservation is made.
After 14 days from the date of reservation, your deposit is non-refundable.
The remaining retreat balance is due 60 days prior to the first day of the retreat.
Reservations may be transferred to another person upon request, but only for the same retreat for which the reservation was originally made. Reservations cannot be transferred to different retreat dates. Requests to transfer a reservation should be submitted to Ambrosia at least 14 days prior to the retreat start date. Please contact Ambrosia at ambrosiabonjour@gmail.com for this request as soon as possible to transfer reservation to another person.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 60 days of the retreat start date.
Any refunds will incur a 4% processing fee.
We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover any reimbursement for cancellations due to illness or other family matters as we cannot guarantee a refund in these cases.
If any retreat does not reach the necessary number of attendees, we reserve the right to cancel a retreat - in this case, a full refund will be issued to any who have reserved.
